Early Head Start Parent Educator (up to 5) to deliver PAT programming

Reports to: PAT Supervisor
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required, Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field preferred
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families
- Current drivers license
- Ability to speak before groups
- Ability to organize and present correct information and answer questions effectively
- Effective listening and observation skills
- Ability to relate comfortably to people of varied educational backgrounds and of all socio-economics and cultural groups
- Commitment to parent decision-making
- High degree of initiative
- Ability to cooperate and collaborate with others
- Knowledge of and ability to work with variety of community resources
- To pass criminal background check including fingerprinting prior to employment
Responsibilities / Expectations:
- Treat Head Start participants, community members and fellow staff with positive regard as defined in Head Start‘s mission statement.
- Provide weekly home visits of 90 minutes to each family for 10 – 12 families
- Provide twice monthly group socialization meetings
- Maintain documentation of parent group meetings and parent education sessions on a timely basis.
- Maintain documentation on parent activities and non-federal resources generated.
- Attends staff meetings to collaborate and coordinate with co-workers
- Coordinates activities for families to include family literacy, family fun days, social and educational events, and facilitates parent involvement in community activities
- Promotes, organizes, and insures parent participation in conduct of annual program evaluation and self-assessment.
- Promotes effective communication between staff and parents and provides for a regular system of communication of program information and activities to parents.

Early Head Start Intake Coordinator

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required, Associate Degree in related field preferred
- Ability to independently operate standard office equipment including personal computer
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows
- Attention to detail
- To pass criminal background check including fingerprinting prior to first day of work
Responsibilities / Expectations:
- Coordinate, manage, and communicate with all referral sources.
- Manage eligibility documentation.
- Managing the waiting lists and assure full enrollment in both center based and home based programs.
- Preparing Federal and internal reports on sources of referrals, demographics and special reports on homeless families, foster families, families who are served as a result of court-ordered interventions relating to child abuse or neglect.

Early Head Start Classroom Teacher (up to 10)

Reports to: Child Care Center Director
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Child Development Associate Credential, Associate or Bachelor degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Experience as a teacher of infants and toddlers
- Experience with Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Twos
- Demonstrated knowledge of child growth and development and teaching strategies
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to work well with parents from diverse backgrounds
- Respect for individual differences
- Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities / Expectations:
- Provide a positive, nurturing, healthy, developmentally appropriate classroom and outdoor environment for infants and toddlers including:

Administrative Coordinator

Responsible for overall administrative support including: human resources/benefits, support of Board of Directors, budget administration/tracking/reporting, physical site(s) management, and the oversight of the collection of data for several RCFS programs. Essential Functions/Percentage of Time
- Through use of word processing equipment prepares letters, memoranda, reports and other material into either draft or final form, ensuring that the format, grammar, spelling, and punctuation are correct. Assists in coordinating meetings for the Executive Director with direct reports, internal and external groups, including the preparation and distribution of agendas and minutes.
- Develops, implements and utilizes forms and systems for use in office management.
- Coordinates incoming and outgoing materials between the Executive Director, other departments, and various external agencies related to RCFS. Maintains comprehensive file systems and databases.
- Primary coordinator for board activities.
- Receives incoming correspondence: screens that which can be handled personally, forwards remainder with necessary background information to the appropriate staff member.
- Attends board meeting to record minutes. Prepares minutes for distribution.
- Ensures that all public material (web site, newsletter, flyers) are available and up to date.
- Additional duties as needed.
