Join Our Team: Early Head Start Health Coordinator

handsEarly Head Start at Richland County First Steps is hiring a Health Coordinator to meet the health and wellness needs of Early Head Start families. This will be accomplished through caregiver training, coordination of health services and referral to community organizations as needed to address medical, mental, oral and nutritional health needs.

Early Head Start provides comprehensive early childhood services that focus on optimizing brain development, supporting healthy social and emotional growth, and supports parents in their roles as their children’s first and best teachers.

All work will be completed within the framework of Early Head Start Program Performance Standards. Candidates must possess either a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or Early Childhood Development, Early Childhood Education, Child Life, or a closely related field with an emphasis on child health.
